AutoCAD Crack+ Free Download (Latest)

Autodesk, Inc. has been a leader in computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software since 1968. At the time of the release of AutoCAD Crack For Windows, the company also produced other commercial software and provided support for Autodesk, Inc.’s personal-computer (PC)-based, multi-user (MU) CAD system. The first of these products was AutoCAD, a desktop PC application that was released in December 1982. A host of other products for the engineering design and drafting markets soon followed. The PC-based MU CAD system is part of the larger suite of AutoCAD products which include three-dimensional (3D) modeling and drawing products.

The AutoCAD product line has expanded over the years to include laser plotters, digital ink plotters, touch-screen tablet PC interfaces, and the mobile apps.

AutoCAD 2016 and AutoCAD 2017 software releases are available for Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and Mac OSX 10.9+ on a variety of platforms including:

Computer Types and Operating Systems

Windows (32-bit or 64-bit)

Mac OS (32-bit or 64-bit)

Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, or 2017

Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8

AutoCAD Download For PC (Updated 2022)

AutoCAD was first made available to the public in 1985. It is currently used by about 3% of all the commercial CAD users, but most of them are large corporations. AutoCAD 2010 was the first version to be used by a major corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI).

AutoCAD 2000 was initially a Windows-only product, but later gained the ability to run on Unix/Linux platforms as well. In 2007, AutoCAD 2008 received support for Mac OS X (Apple Inc.), which was AutoCAD’s first fully UNIX-compatible product, while at the same time, other major competitors could not run on Mac OS X. AutoCAD 2009 and AutoCAD 2010 were the first versions that offered native 64-bit support for Windows XP 64-bit. In AutoCAD 2010, a 64-bit version was released for Windows 8 (the Windows 8 Enterprise version has a different installation directory and a different user interface). AutoCAD 2013 was released as 64-bit only. AutoCAD 2015 was the first release of AutoCAD to support 64-bit Windows 8. AutoCAD 2016 supported 64-bit Windows 7, but not Windows 8.

Also in the 2000 version, CAD Data Acquisition and Arch/Geo was released. This allowed users to share data between multiple CAD systems, through a COM interface. In 2002, there were more than 1,600,000 copies of AutoCAD on CD.

The native print driver for Windows XP and later is the “standard” DSC-Based printing driver (14xx) developed and supported by Autodesk. The native print driver for Windows XP and later is the “standard” DSC-Based printing driver (14xx) developed and supported by Autodesk.

In 2016, AutoCAD launched the CAD Cloud to allow the use of local and cloud-based storage for users to be able to store their data and use it in any CAD application.

AutoCAD has received numerous awards for its software engineering and user interface design over the years. Since its release in 1989, AutoCAD has been awarded more than 100 awards from the United States National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and various Computerworld editors. In 2014, AutoCAD won the Distinguished Achievement Award for Programming from Autodesk.

AutoCAD also received the ICiSD Human-Centered Computer Interface Design (HCI)
